Tabaret Hall (University of Ottawa) 550 Cumberland Street, Ottawa
5pm – 8pm (drop-in format) CONSTRUCTION IN YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD:
Construction of an underground access shaft for future inspection of the CSST tunnel is planned for Cumberland Street, north of Wilbrod Street – referred to as Site 3CR. This will necessitate the closure of Cumberland (Wilbrod to Stewart) to vehicles for approximately one year (pedestrian and cyclist passage will be maintained). Construction is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2018 and continue for approximately 12 months.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
At the Public Information Session, you will be provided with background information on the CSST project, as well as details on specific construction activities and impacts for Site 3CR on Cumberland at Wilbrod. As a “drop-in” format, there will not be a formal presentation. You will have the opportunity to:
• Receive background information on the CSST Project
• Consider the anticipated construction activities set to occur in your neighborhood • Learn about parking and traffic modification strategies
• Provide feedback on the project and the reinstatement of the site
Project team members will be available to discuss the project and answer your questions.
