In early October, I had the opportunity to meet with residents in my community to discuss the City budget at the 2016 Budget Speak consultation.

Big news for Sandy Hill, Vanier and Overbrook residents

After months of hard work and many community inquiries, I am happy to officially announce that the new pedestrian bridge over the Rideau River between Somerset and Donald streets will open to the public two seasons ahead of schedule on December 4th at 1 pm.

On October 7th, our office, in collaboration with the urban Councillors and Citizens Academy, hosted Budget Speak, an innovative community workshop on the City of Ottawa 2016 budget priorities.

Order of Ottawa

The city inducted 14 of Ottawa’s most outstanding residents into the Order of Ottawa during a ceremony last week at Ottawa City Hall.
