ABOUT ME

A strong
personal
commitment.

A proven record of community leadership.
A strong voice for our Francophone community.

I am proud and excited to put my name forward for School Board Trustee in Zone 10.

As a former student of École élémentaire publique Francojeunesse, I am now the parent of two children who attend our French-language schools. Like many families in our neighbourhood, I experience the successes, challenges and aspirations of our school community every day.

My mother taught elementary students for 41 years. She instilled in me a deep respect for the people who dedicate their lives to educating our students.

Having had the privilege of representing our neighbourhood as a City Councillor for more than a decade, I want to continue serving our community. My experience in governance, public finance, strategic planning and representing residents will help me advocate for students and parents.

My background and vision

My French-language education took me from Francojeunesse to Franco-Cité and then to the University of Ottawa. Today, I serve on the boards of Hôpital Montfort and our community radio station, Unique FM.

I believe deeply in modern, French-language public education. I see our schools thrive through their rich programs, dedicated staff and the many opportunities they offer young people to learn, flourish and reach their full potential.

Families of all backgrounds enrich our Francophone community with their experiences, cultures and aspirations. We celebrate this diversity, support full participation in school life and help every student succeed.

We’ve made meaningful progress together, and we can keep strengthening it. Protecting what we have built and upholding Francophone rights will help ensure that future generations receive quality education that reflects our French language and supports each student’s identity and culture.

MY PRIORITIES

Student success.
Our shared priority.

01

For our students
and our schools

  • Put student success and well-being at the heart of decisions.
  • Support modern, safe and accessible learning environments.
  • Modernize our school buildings and grounds.
  • Make our schools true community spaces.
02

Education as a
path to success

  • I believe that supporting our teachers and all school staff is essential.
  • I believe every student’s success depends on close collaboration among parents, school staff and the community.
  • I believe that in a changing world, schools must teach essential knowledge and nurture innovation.
03

Our Francophone community:
by us and for us

  • Protect our hard-won gains and Francophone governance.
  • Recognize those who defended our rights and share their history with every student.
  • Support and fully welcome families and parents whose first language is not French.
